Minnesota Timberwolves star forward Kevin Love concludes his 6th annual Kevin Love Coat Drive today, after more than collecting 4,500 coats during the month-long partnership with The Salvation Army.

“Cold weather is here and many people are in need of winter coats,” Love said. “With the support of The Salvation Army and Wolves fans, we can make a difference again this winter for those in need.”

Those who donated a coat of any size received two free tickets to one of two Timberwolves home games: Jan. 1 vs. the New Orleans Pelicans or Jan. 8 vs. the Phoenix Suns.

Love personally delivered coats to The Salvation Army on Dec. 17, the last day of donations. The Timberwolves said the 4,500 coats donated this season is the largest amount since Love started the drive six years ago.
