International Day of Prayer for Children 2014

Salvationists around the world are encouraged to place the world’s children before God in focused prayer on The Salvation Army’s International Day of Prayer for Children March 30.

This year, the prayer day will focus on Mark 9:37: “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me” (NIV).

International Headquarters Communications Section designer Berni Georges created a poster with a challenging reminder from General André Cox that “our young people are not just a hope for the future, but they are our hope now in the world.”

Visit The Salvation Army International website to download the poster, for information and statistics about issues facing children today, along with discussion starter questions and prayers.
